A review on Iranian and world cinema box office for last weekend: Part 3

Nelson Dilipkumar’s feature film ‘Jailer’ prevailed the Dubai box office list for the 34th weekend.

The Indian filmmaker’s movie, which is in Tamil language, sold 52,210 tickets during the time span of August 18 to 20. Besides, only two weeks through its screening, around 335,224 cinema goers bought tickets to watch the film, which makes it the second best selling movie of the year, so far.

Although Christopher Nolan’s ‘Oppenheimer’ was not among the three best titles of the week, it yet has the lead regarding the total number of sold tickets with 408,663 passes distributed.

The top ten flicks of the week were equally divided between the Hollywood and non-Hollywood cinemas as it is shown in the following table.
